The Hydraulic Fishing Overshot, Type LNG-54, is designed to grip and recover tools and instruments with fishing necks, 35 mm in diameter, left in the borehole, due to the sticking or for some other reason, by pulling them out. The fishing tool is lowered into the borehole using coil tubing (CT), when the work is done using coiled-tubing units (CTU).
The fishing tool is manufactured in a nominal diameter of 54 mm.
